Remiel is the angel of mercy, and he is credited with two tasks: he is responsible for divine visions, and he guides the souls of the faithful into Heaven. In addition, he is one of the holy angels whom God has set over those who rise from the dead, in effect the angel that watches over those that are to resurrect.

~Character profile~
Being told proper in a fic being written in for the journal, but I'm having so much fun writing it I don't want to give too much away. :3 It is essentially a bastardized hybrid of biblical lore on the 3 possible (Ramael, Remiel, Ramiel) indenties of the archangel of mercy. Only his youngest brother (and closest friend) Raziel knows the whole truth. To Be Completed.

~Character personality~
Loves humans. Loves animals. Loves nature. Loves carnal pleasures. Unlike his brothers, he has been partly bound to the earthly plane for most of his existance watching over the seers so has been able to witness first hand the evolution of industry and society. Thus he has a fair grasp on modern language and technology. He especially enjoyed the 60's, and is a flower child at heart.

Created to be the archangel that watches over Chuck ([info]visionsandvodka) before Kripe retconned my ass. Seriously, Raphael as a guardian? Seriously? Because I'm a stickler for canon I'm going with Remiel took a vacation for the few months that the whole Castiel being blown up fiasco went down. He is now back in his rightful place; crashing on Chucks couch making sure he doesn't burn himself on his toaster.
